Employed with "Big Eight" CPA Firm in Dallas, Texas as an Auditor and Senior Auditor from May 1979 — June 1982. Became a partner of Shost & Dunn CPA’s in October 1982, and owner of William L. Dunn & Associates October 1986 - December 2003. January 2004, formed new firm with Julie K. Dill Served as President of the Dallas Chapter of National Association of Accountants (NAA) from June 1988 - May 1989. Current President of Garland Downtown Business Association Member: AICPA, and TSCPA Being very civic minded, Bill continues to be involved with the business community on many levels. First, he is President of the Garland Downtown Business Association which promotes growth in the Downtown area with events such as the First Saturday Trade Days. Bill also has just joined the Chairman’s Council for the Garland Chamber of Commerce. Bill is also a City Commissioner on the Downtown Tax Incremental Financing (TIF) Committee.
