As a company, Dunn & Dill, P.C., is still relatively new. However, the people that make up Dunn & Dill, P.C. bring to the company a wealth of knowledge, earned only after years of experience. In 1996, Julie Dill became an employee for William L. Dunn & Associates, which had been in business since 1986. They became joint owners of the new company Dunn & Dill, P.C. in January 2004. The new company brought new faces, and a new look. Bill and Julie decided that the new company would have more depth than the old, which meant growing in both employees and services. In anticipation of the new company's opening, they went from a three person company, to seven people, all with varied backgrounds. It was at this time that the company also expanded to provide services to Non-Profit Organizations. With all the growing Dunn & Dill, P.C. was doing, a new office became necessary. They found the perfect location in the old Masonic Lodge in Downtown Garland. This abandoned space had been vacant since the 1960s, and was in desperate need of renovation. What was once a large open room became eight offices, with a conference room, kitchen, and bathroom. Beneath the blue shag carpet, the original wood floor was discovered. Behind layers of plaster, the original brick was exposed. The paint was removed from the windows, and the loft repaired. The result was an elegant blending of the past and present, with the building's classic features highlighted by modern touches.v Throughout all the changes that took place during that first year of business, Bill and Julie were careful to ensure that some things didn't change. Their commitment to quality service is the cornerstone of their business, and always has been. Clients, whether they have been with Bill for twenty years or one, have come to rely on this. A leader in their field and community, Dunn & Dill, P.C. has looked beyond its own walls, recognizing the need to bring commerce and opportunity to the Downtown Garland area. Dunn & Dill, P.C. has become a central part of the effort to breathe life back into the Downtown.
